Hi, this is Bo, an auto expert on RepairPal's Car Genius team! When your daytime running lights decide to stay on like a stubborn houseguest, it's usually an electrical control issue. Since your 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee has LED headlights, it could be the body control module (BCM) acting up or a faulty relay sticking in the "on" position. The BCM controls a lot of the vehicle's electronic features, and a glitch there can keep the lights on even after the engine is off. You might also want to check if any aftermarket wiring from the LED conversion is causing mischief.
