What is your question?
Engine running tough. Check engine light on and two other lights on: electric Throttle sensor and one with zig zag behind car light. Car would jerk and be erratic. Turn off & on helped for little while. OBD Test said misfire #2 plus multiple misfires. Spark plugs changed by friend who didn't know apparently. They had trouble puting engine cover on and may have broken something. After gasoline flowing out of piston and all over. Other friend stopped gas leak. Planned to service. Still driveable. Lights still on. Engine still driving rough. After couple short trips engine really really bad sound hard to go and Then stopped running. Towed to mechanic who advised something fell in engine and costly to get out and repair. Said I should get new car???!! Seems crazy as this minor problem went bad. It's a 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee w/ 5.7 Hemi. 133,000 mi. No other major problems.
What makes this problem better or worse?
Nothing could make it worse
How long has your 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee had this problem?

Hello, "gasoline flowing out of piston and all over" - what does this mean? I can't understand what happened here unless a fuel line was damaged -- but that wouldn't be "out of piston". You don't have flowing gasoline inside the engine; you have tiny sprays of fuel from each fuel injector that enter the combustion chamber to ignite the spark. Continuing to drive a vehicle with a known problem is never a good idea and can cause far more damage. This appears to have occurred. Being that there are a lot of "I don't know" situations here, I'd trust a technician who is looking at the vehicle to know what's happening first hand.
