You likely have a problem with one or more of the blend doors. Jeeps of this era had a lot of problems with the blend doors. Sometimes you can get lucky as Mopar does have a repair kit were you cut into the HVAC unit and are able to replace one blend door. You should bring it in to a competent shop that is familiar with these Jeeps, sometimes you can get trouble codes from the HVAC module which can help in the diagnosis of your concern. If the HVAC unit needs to be removed be prepared as the whole entire dash needs to be removed--usually not a do-it-yourself repair. Good luck
