This code P1494 is not a Fuel Pump Sensor code, it is an Evaporative System code that involves a device called the Leak Detection Pump. Here is an article I wrote that addresses some of the EVAP problems on Jeeps and down in the article I describe the Leak Detection Pump System. http://repairpal.com/OBD-II-Code-P0442-Jeep You need to do a full inspection of all the hoses that go to the Leak Detection pump, especially the vacuum hoses. I would follow the P0442 Jeep article or bring it to your shop. In the end it may be a defective Leak Detection Pump which would include the Sensor inside of it or some times the LDP bellows tear and then the Sensor inside of it will never read correctly. However one must be sure to perform all of the proper inspections including a Smoke Test of the Evaporative System.
