This vehicle has never had any issues starting. Was running perfectly. I moved it from one end of the driveway to the other no more then 20 ft. Now wont turn over just a click. Brand new battery altenator good. I guess it could be the starter but the starter had shown no signs of quitting at all.
How long has your 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee had this problem?

First thing you want to do is make sure the battery connections are tight. If they are then just double check the voltage of the battery or jump start it. I know the battery is new but it may be defective. If it jumps off then drive to a local parts store so they can load test the new battery. Alex
