What is your question?
Not sure if EGR is correct, I have spent 4 momths trying to diagnose my Jeep have been to dealer and several local shops nobody can figure it out. The car constantly sends 02 codes and when the sensors are replace it sends same code again: Symptons are tttrembling and shaking feeling especially at idle and in reverse. Have checked for manifold leaks and have been told rheir are no vacumn leaks, thought I read somethng on hear about EGR Valve can this cause this and where is it on my Jeep would this valve send a code, I know this has everything to do with the emissions they keep telling me they want to look deep in my engine and I know what that means however the engine seems to run fine and still takes off just fine and the trembling isn't noticible at high speeds it has to be something simple like valve or wire just totally baffled can anyone suggest anything...this car only has 59,000 miles and has been well taken care of never had any engine light before this happend...and thats pretty good for a 12 year old car...HELP Please any idea would be greatly appreciated...

Without trouble codes, I would suggest looking into 2 things. First check pcv hose and make sure it hasn't collapsed and "sucked" itself shut car needs to be running and/or see visually a depression in line. Second, if the catalytic converter has fouled you can get o2 codes that are not the problem because of the exhaust backing up. This issue will usually cause lack of true power under hard acceleration and running rough at low rpms at idle.
What are the trouble codes please.
Last code P0155 only one written down previous coded for B-1 S-1 and B-1 S-2
trouble first started in September took the car to a mechanic and he said it was B-1 S-1 and B-1 S-2 and replaced both sensors, car actually ran good for about a week. Then I found out he replaced with NAPA sensors and had read aftermarket were not good, engine light came back on.. So I took it to crysler dealer they found open circuit for 02 heaters traced and found a bad wire-replaced wire and fuse for 02 heaters...they did not recommend changing any sensors. Car still ran rough and engine light came back on before I got home..took it back and they did fuel cleaning said throttlebody was dirty also replaced 1 month old spark plugs because they came from NAPA. Engine light came back on for sensors within 2 days. Finally took to a shop referred by friends. They replaced B-1 Sensor 1, checked the throttle body , the harmonic balance, motor mounts, ignition module I didn't even make it out of the parking lot before light came back on. Took to another shop and and code was PO155 B2S1 upstream oxygen sensor they replaced the sensor engine light came back on within 20 miles from shop went back and still coding P0155 they did another injector cleaning they scheduled appointment for me to return . Had the car checked for manifold leaks by very reputable shop no leaks anywhere but he drives a Jeep and he said the evaporater emissions should be checked he said he can feel a thumping in it when car is running says his Jeep doesn't make that pulsing feeling the last shop I went to just sluffed me off when I mentioned it to them is that the valve we are talking about I've been told by 2 places that it is not the cat converter because it doesn't code I'm so confused and tired of doing unnecessary expensive things to the best of my knowledge B-1 S-1 is still aftermarket had appt to replace but shop said not to at this point it is not coding...I'm at my wits end and refuse to believe this car has anything major wrong with it. Not all my invoices have code #s only know they are all 02 sensor codes the only one written down is P0155 WOULD THE EGR VALVE THROW A CODE??? I have many hours of expensive computer diagnostic time logged at this point. PS I've been told they checked all hoses and checked for vacumn leaks...Don't know where to reply to answer but the Jeep shows no misfires every time it has been checked
ok, understand your frustration. i think you need someone to go back to basics. start with a compression test. jeeps had a big issue, especially with low mileage, with exhaust guides sticking causing missfires and erractic running. this can be confirmed by a good shop with someone familiar with these types of repairs. as far as the egr, no, i do not believe it will cause your issue. Wow now that is quite a list. Catalytic converters don't usually throw engine codes but, a bad one that is plugging up will trip the codes of the sensors in the same system it is in. Such as: any of your oxygen sensors, egr valve, misfire codes and any other sensor that a backup of the emissions could reach. One way to check is to have can run 4 awhile then put your hand about 3 to 4 inches from tailpipe. If you have to pull your hand away before you feel you will get burned the exhaust is way too hot (bad catalytic) if there is very low flow same thing.
