My fuel pump relay went bad so I made a jumper wire til I got one.

What is your question?

So... I got one for it today and now it won't run when I put the new one it, but it will run with the jumper wire. Any ideals as to why it is doing that?

Sounds like the signal wire that activates the relay is not functioning. This can be checked with a test light and can be the ignition switch, wiring problem, or ECU issue.
