What is your question?
the doors were not locking all the time before this issue. I tried to disconnect the battery, but that did not work. Then I tried to reset the lock by unlocking the trunk, that did not work. Does anyone know what to do? It is a 1998 Jeep Grand CHerokee.
What makes this problem better or worse?
its not starting tried to charge the battery seems full.
How long has your 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee had this problem?
started with the locks not working properly.

Hello, my impression is that there is an anti-theft concern with doors seen to be open when they are not, or trying to deactivate it when all is well. The concern I have is - is this a factory equipped alarm or an added aftermarket alarm? If it's an add on alarm, have it removed and recheck operation. If it's a factory equipped alarm, you'll need to make sure all components are working properly. This means - door locks, latches, and door opening switches. If something is not working properly or is electrically shorted, then there may be problems as you're describing.
