I opened my door while the door was open but the car was armed it sounded , then I tried to start it it died. Has not worked since

the doors were not locking all the time before this issue. I tried to disconnect the battery, but that did not work. Then I tried to reset the lock by unlocking the trunk, that did not work. Does anyone know what to do? It is a 1998 Jeep Grand CHerokee.

its not starting tried to charge the battery seems full.

Hello, my impression is that there is an anti-theft concern with doors seen to be open when they are not, or trying to deactivate it when all is well. The concern I have is - is this a factory equipped alarm or an added aftermarket alarm?
If it's an add on alarm, have it removed and recheck operation.
