What is your question?
Had several smog repairs and now no check engine light. But cannot get the computer ready for smog status CAT and EVAC. Driven car fast and slow. Runs great.
How long has your 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee had this problem?
Several months

Hello, EVAP stands for evaporative emissions system. Make sure you have between 1/4 and 3/4 a tank of fuel for this to set, and drive normally. For CAT which stands for Catalyst, you'll need to ensure you have the right amount of fuel and drive it steady at about 57-60 MPH for maybe 15 minutes -- and it should set.
