Engine started running rough and also seemed to not shift smoothly. After I came to a stop, car would not accelerate. Was unable to get car to move in reverse either.

before you take it to a trans shop change the trans fluid with mopar atf-4 and the problem should go away.thats what i did.ps walmart sells this fluid for a lot cheaper then the dealer.
have 95 grand ck limited edition trans seem to slip when cold changed transmission fluid & filter. cost $94ollars grease monkey no more problems just did a two thou mile trip thank goodness I didn't listen to having trans rebuilt. do this first you won't be sorry
