Car alarm will not deactivate when battery reconnected, driver key lock does not work; clip broken and key fob does not work

Doors initially would not lock but was able to set door switch and they locked with key fob. Then the key fob stopped working. Tried setting the micro switch again, did not work. Door will not unlock with key. Once battery connected, full alarm goes off and unable to deactivate with key fob as trunk is open. Short of disconnecting the horn to silence the alarm, is their a way to key in ignition reset the alarm system?

Check to see if your 97 has a passenger door switch. If so, use the key in that door to deactivate your alarm. The fob should do all the disarming in general as well as the ignition switch.
