Have you (or anyone else) checked the coolant level to make sure its not low? That light may be on for a reason...

It doesn't take much of a coolant loose for this to cause the warning to go off. We have to add just a little bit once in a while. Factory hose clamp wasn't tight. replaced with new clamp. Still loosing a little looking for other pin size leaks.
