Setting DTC P0390 CMP sensor-B (exh) Bank 2. The Scan data at idle reads 0 Deg for Sensor-B B2 while Sensor-B B1 reads 5 degrees. Neither VVT is being actuated. The engine will not start with Sensor-B B2 connected. Of course, with it disconnected it has an extended crank time before starting. Both Sensor-Bs are outputting a good CMP signal as shown in the attached waveforms. Why would the Nissan signal Math flag B2 rather than B1? Other than “It’s a Nissan!” The only known good waveform I can find is from a 2008 QX70 3.7L. Comparing my waveform to that one my waves do seem to be off a bit. Before I have them tear the front of the engine off I would like to have a known good wave form something the exact match of a 2019 3.5L.
How long has your 2019 INFINITI QX60 had this problem?

Hi - Dave here, contributing to RepairPal and providing expert advice since 2010. How many miles are on your QX60? I suspect a wiring harness problem, long term lubrication problem, or possibly the sensor rotor itself -- but it's too hard to know without performing hands on inspection. There's no good Internet advice to offer; hands on inspection is needed. https://repairpal.com/auto-repair-near-me Click the link to find some shops near you who can help out!
