Is there a recall on the Infinity dashboard? My dash is full of cracks.

There has been a large crack in my dashboard that runs along the arch above the main instrument panel for several years, but because it's behind the steering wheel, It's not noticeable and hasn't bothered me much. In the last year or two, several smaller cracks on the passenger side have appeared as well as a small gouge on the corner. It looks terrible. My daughters Mazda dashboard was recently recalled for this problem but I haven't been able to find anything from Infinity or Nissan. I love my car and don't want to get rid of it.

Hello The best thing to do is either call Infiniti of North America or go to http://www.infinitiusa.com/recalls-vin#/ and search by your car's vin number if there is a recall. Hope this helps

Thanks for the help. I checked using my VIN and there is no recall. I will talk to the dealer and look into a dash cover. It's too bad because I love this car and would have definitely bought another if it weren't for this problem - I tend to hold onto cars for many years!

Owner: I don't know of any recall, if there was it would not apply to a vehicle of that age, the best solution is a dash cover, and a windshield sun screen to protect the dash when the vehicle is new,
