Hi, this is Bo, an auto expert on RepairPal's Car Genius team! No brake lights but everything else works can be a real head-scratcher. Here are a few ideas that might help pinpoint the issue: Brake Light Switch: This is often the culprit. It’s usually located near the brake pedal and can fail, preventing the brake lights from illuminating. Fuses: Double-check the fuse for the brake lights. Even if other lights are working, a blown fuse can affect only the brake lights. Wiring Issues: Look for damaged or corroded wiring in the brake light circuit. Sometimes, connections can come loose, especially if you've had any recent work done around the area. Bulb Sockets: If the sockets are corroded or damaged, that could also prevent the lights from working, even if the bulbs are good. Since a reputable garage has already looked into it, they might have checked these things, but it might be worth reviewing with them.
