I need to know if when you take of the compressor pressure valve of if it has a schrader valve to keep the Freon from leaking out

Hello, I’m Pete from the Car Genius team at RepairPal. Thank you for reaching out with your question on your 2020 Hyundai Veloster. Looking at this model's information it does look like anytime the pressure sensor/switch is replaced or removed the A/C freon will need to be properly evacuated and recharged. If you attempt to replace or remove it without having the freon removed this can cause an issue with freon loss at a rapid pace which can be dangerous to you as well as the environment. It is best to have the freon evacuated properly using the correct A/C equipment which most shops have to be able to do so. I wish I had some better news to give you on this.
