What is your question?
I have what looks like a coolant leak(smells like syrup) coming from a hose, going into/coming out from the firewall right behind where the intake tube turns behind the engine. Its about one drop every second and a half. Started after I had opened the throttle from a low gear. Best course of action?

The safest way to find a coolant leak is a pressure test with a cold engine. Top up the coolant,(you can use water for now) and rent a pressur tester at any auto parts store. Basically this screws on to where the coolant cap usually goes and pressurizes the system. This way if there is a leak you can watch it live with having a hot engine running and potentially putting yourself in a dangerous situation. Alex
