What is your question?
My ISG works pefectly for only one week of the month. I get the orange colored A for 75% of the time. What can cause that?
How long has your 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe had this problem?
About 3 months

Hello, when the A is orange colored, it means that the criteria for engaging the ISG system is not satisfied. The following areas need to happen to engage ISG: -driver's seat belt fastened -driver's door and hood are closed -brake system vacuum pressure is sufficient -battery is sufficiently charged -- above 70% as monitored by the module -Outside temperature is 14 degrees to 95 degrees Fahrenheit -Engine coolant temperature is over 86 degrees Farenheit -System is not in the diagnostic mode -No related diagnostic trouble codes are present -The vehicle is not on a steep slope -Steering wheel is turned less than 180 degrees -Shift lever is in Drive or Neutral Think about those criteria for a minute. The most common cause, I would think, could be a battery that is too low in charge. Or, perhaps you aren't fastening your seat belt? Anyway, just review that information. Certainly consult your local dealership with questions and diagnostic testing.
I think the problem is with a switch near the battery. The first time I had the problem they put in a new battery just 4 months ago. I think the problem is not the battery because then it would never work like before.
