What is your question?
Between 47,000 and 57,000 miles the oil was not changed. Supposedly the vehicle recieved regular oil changed prior to 47,000 miles. Would not changing your oil for those 10,000 miles in a hyundai santa fe, 2014 cause engine failure?

Hello, yes, I would never go 10,000 miles between oil changes. You cannot be sure that going that long will definitely cause a failure, but I would say you risk poor oil filtration which can cause debris inside the oil passages of the engine, starving oil and causing rapid component wear. You can also starve the engine of proper oil level from normal consumption over such a long stretch of mileage. This is all theory, though. But again, I would say every 5,000 miles is a good interval for an oil and filter change on this vehicle.
