What is your question?
Changed out the engine coolant sensor; radiator will only come on when A/C is running. Can it be the radiator hoses as I can still faintly smell radiator water? What else do I need to check out?

Hello, I’m Pete from the Car Genius team at RepairPal. I’m sorry you’re dealing with this concern on your Hyundai Santa Fe. Based on the information provided it sounds like this may be a concern with the radiator fan itself not turning on unless the AC is turned on. As long as the engine is not running hot or overheating this could be normal operation but if the engine is running hot or overheating in any way and the fan is not engaging this concern can be caused by the engine coolant temperature sensor, a failing relay, a fault with the computer itself internally, or possibly even a wiring concern. I recommend having these checked into/tested properly to pinpoint which component is creating this concern so it can then be repaired properly from there. It may be best to allow a reputable repair facility look into this concern using the correct tools needed to pinpoint the issue if this is something you are unable to do yourself.
