They told me it was a crack in the fuel pump and vacuum pump. They said the repair would be $1800. But when I had looked up repair for this error code, everything said it would be not more than $700 and likely a gasket or hose. Wouldn't a crack in these pumps cause problems other than the check engine light? And wouldn't that be detected as more than a small emissions leak?
