My 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe runs good ,but oil light is on what is wrong?

I checked oil it has plenty. It makes a loud clanking noise when at idle or low speed if you are going 45+ the noise stops . It still runs smooth no smoking , just oil light on and noise

What makes this problem better or worse?

Slow speed or sitting still with car running
