What is your question?
I went to place gas in my car and when I went to start my car it cut off, without any warning. My engine was idling low and I couldn't hear it running. It starts just fine but automatically cuts off. I can't afford costly repairs and I Googled it , it said numerous reason this could happen, but number 1 was EGR valve maybe faulty. I had to have my car towed home. Two days later it started right up but I'm scared to drive it and cause more problems.
What makes this problem better or worse?
The engine was hot
How long has your 2006 Hyundai Santa Fe had this problem?

It's hard to say what's wrong with your car without any more info. These types of issues can be caused by many different things. You will need to have it diagnosed at a shop if you don't work on cars. The last thing you want to do is guess and order parts. That could be a huge waste of money.
