The last few days when I drive my SUV anywhere and allow it to idle for a few minutes. Once I leave where I was at I can only make it 10-15 miles down the road. Car will shut off and my TCS off, check engine, and AWD lights come on. I can turn back....

What is your question?

on once its put in park and key turned to the off position. Have to allow car to cool down for approximately 10 min so it won't do it again going down road. What could fix this problem? I heard it could be my Throttle position sensor or my Crank.

This sounds to me like a crankshaft or camshaft position sensor. Especially because it shuts off AFTER its hot. Does the check engine light stay on? Cause usually the computer will catch it and let you see that code...

No once I turn the key off and turn the engine on again all the lights are off. I will have the crankshaft and camshaft position sensor checked. Thank You.

Thats so weird. Maybe its something electrical then, like a loose battery cable?

My dad checked the battery. He is going to replace the Throttle position sensor, if that doesn't work he is going to take it to the garage. I can't keep driving with it shutting off because I'm afraid of something happen while my 5 yr old is with me.

has anyone even considered the catalytic converter? i mean if it only goes so far down the road and dies and if you allow it to cool off this all sounds like a blocked converter to me.. I just had my front one replaced and well resolved that issue but now the stalling when stopping is present so I am thinking first tps then cam and or crankshaft sensors.. AS well as any other number of dumb a sensors that there may be .. see they through these sensors in to keep us paying money to keep the junk running..
