How do you replace the alternator ?

Hello, Depending on the position of the alternator, there may be several items to remove before it is free for removal. 1. disconnect negative, then positive terminal of the battery 2. disconnect all wiring from the alternator 3. remove serpentine belt (or drive belt) 4. remove fasteners for the alternator and all obstructing components. 5. Install is reverse order Make sure to have the alternator tested before replacement. You may not need one.
