air bag lightstays on all the time

I took my santa fe back to the Hyundai dealer to fix the problem 2x. Now the air bag light is on again for the 3rd time. They had to replace the wire harness under the front passenger seat. They told me make sure there is no foreign objects under the seat, water bottles, kids toys, etc.

It means there is a problem with the Supplemental Restraint System. Air bags and seat belt will not work properly in case of an accident. Take your car to a shop and have it inspected. Omaha's shops here; http://repairpal.com/omaha-auto-repair

Hyundai used crappy connectors when designing the airbag system. What I did was put new connectors on by clipping of the old ones and soldering on new ones. If that does not resolve the issue you may have to get the code cleared at Hyundai. Warning: Do not allow electrical contact to the connectors!
