in changing the alternator is removing the axle required, that makes a diff in price?

is artenator problems to replace. is labor is 1.5 to 2hours but is you vehicle have to much rust it takes more.it happen to me 3times different vehicles i did change. the arternator on same vehicle 3 times.deffective remans arternator . the only way is removing axle and is faster by removing inner axle. also.
