is artenator problems to replace. is labor is 1.5 to 2hours but is you vehicle have to much rust it takes more.it happen to me 3times different vehicles i did change. the arternator on same vehicle 3 times.deffective remans arternator . the only way is removing axle and is faster by removing inner axle. also.
You should be able to replace the alternator without removing the front axle. I think you need to find a Hyundai or Mitsubishi specialist to help you. Because of the flickering lights I think the problem is in the alternator or control. You should have an expert diagnose this problem.
