PCM causing dead Battery every 7-10 days?

No recalls for any HR-V battery concerns. I work at a Honda dealership every day, and can tell you that there are absolutely no battery concerns with HR-V's. Are there any aftermarket items added to the vehicle -- even an alarm -- that may not have been purchased, but could be pre-installed and dormant from the dealership? I've seen these draw the battery down. What are the symptoms that cause this dead battery? Is the car driven daily? Is it driven far? How many miles since you purchased the vehicle, and when was that? Do you ever use any accessories with the engine off, but power on? Radio? Mobile Phone? Fan? Cars today are not meant to have accessories in use with the engine off. Just asking some questions, do not assume there's a problem with the car -- unless it's an add on item causing it. Work with your dealership to drill down to the cause of your concern and resolve it. Good luck.
