What is your question?
I've checked the Owner's Manual. It mentions to hold the key fob next to the ignition button for 10 seconds as you press it to start the car. This works to stop the blinking/flashing for the duration of that particular trip, but I have to do this every time I start the car. Does the fob need a new battery? Do I need a new fob?
What makes this problem better or worse?

it would be worth the few dollars to buy a new battery to find out if that fixes it.
My 2016 Hrv did the same thing and had the yellow light on the dash on.I replaced the battery,,,same prob...then I locked and unlocked the car several times from the outside, when I got back in the car I could set my fob on the seat and start the car. no flashing button light and no more yellow light....??? maybe that was the learning process?
