Hi this is Bo, I'm one of the auto experts on RepairPal's Car Genius team. Are you using a second party streaming radio service like Sirius? If so, it could be that there was a free trial that expired. Try connecting to the unit via bluetooth to see if you can stream music that way. If you're not using a streaming service the unit may need an update.
