Hi, my name is Devin. I am an auto repair expert with the Car Genius team here at RepairPal. I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with your Yukon XL 2500. Given that the rough idle occurs only in drive and reverse, it could be related to a few things. One possibility is that the engine might be misfiring due to an issue with the spark plugs, ignition coils, or fuel delivery. Since you recently had the mass airflow sensor replaced, it's also worth checking the intake air leaks or whether it was installed correctly, as these can affect the air-fuel mixture and cause rough idling. Another potential factor could be related to the transmission repair. If the transmission isn't fully engaging or there's an issue with the torque converter, it might be causing the engine to struggle under load. I recommend having a mechanic perform a diagnostic check to pinpoint the issue, especially since you've recently had repairs done.
