I ran a remote wire to a relay in the fusebox(RUN/CRNK) for my subwoofers and everything worked fine and sounded good. I turned truck off and went to sleep but when i tried to go to work in the am Everything in my car was working perfect before i installed the remote wire No starter click No crank No start The relay i hooked up too is not blown I have checked every single fuse and relay in the box and nothing is blown and everything electrical seems to work just fine All my electronics come on when i turn the key I disconnected the remote wire and the power wire from my sound system so that its not interfering with anything anymore My battery is not dead Throwing code P1862 DRIVER 5 LINE 2 The (ENG) fuse is pulling 11.63 steady The (ECM-IGN) fuse is pulling 11.63 steady 2008 yukon xl 5.3/4l60/4wd

Hello, well clearly - the modification made caused a problem. You will need to determine if the problem is related to the modification itself, or. if it is instead due to unintended damage caused by the modification. You are talking about a P1682 code, by the way. I suspect a blown fuse or relay related to the ignition or ECM. A power surge is something I would expect due to the work you performed which could overload a protected circuit.
