Lost power steering in the snow, even though fluid is full, and it won't come back.

Thunder Auto Repair, I think you hit it on the head. The steering has always been stiff in my 99 GMC, until tonight, when I got it stuck in the snow. Of course, the rpm's were way up there, and things got hot!!!!!!!!!!! Obviously, it was the ps pump making some of the noise, because after 20 min. of trying to get out, it was hell to turn. where are you located?????????frank 440-210-8100
