What is your question?
Since May 29, my air condition belt has broke three times on 2000 yukon xl. The first time it appeared to be because it was old. But the following two times, brand new belts were used. What could be causing this to continue to happen?

Apparently GM has issued bulletin on this problem. It is a design problem with a/c pump too low in a/c system and pump momentatily locks up from liquid freon. So pump siezes up momentarily causing belt tensioner to chatter until rpm comes up and pump is spinning again. It happens on acceration right? My 2001 Yukon does the same thing. Havn't talked to GM yet but I will. Maybe there is a recall.
