My truck burns like 3 to 4 quarts of oil before every oil change.

Are you doing mostly highway miles? My 95 Tahoe was burning a quart every 1,000 miles. You can try this,it worked for my truck and now it burns 1 quart every 2500 miles. 1 quart of lucas oil treatment and the rest with castrol oil. I use 10/30 castrol because i have high miles. It worked on some of my customers vehicles also and some said it didn't work. I don't know how it works,but lucas and castrol only worked for me.

READ YOUR OWNERS MANUAL ,, YOU MAYBE OVER FILLING IT,, AS THIS WAS A COMMON ISSUE ON NORTHSTAR ENGINES, THE OIL DIPSTICK SHOULD SHOW HALF WAY ON THE HASH MARKS ON THE NORTHSTARS AND EVERYONE WAS OVER FILLING THEM....
