The speedometer on the Instrument Panel Cluster on my 2005 gmc 2500hd is intermittent and sometimes the gauge is stoped at a certain speed and doesn't move or it starts to move at a speed more than i am moving. Anyone know what is wrong?

You have a faulty instrument cluster. GM is covering this 7yr/70k. If not covered it's close to a $500 job. Quite common also. Did mine at 58k.
This is very common on the 03-06 GMs. The cause is the motors behind the gauges are failing, they all go out eventually. You can get it repaired here - www.drspeedometer.com and there's a DIY guide here - www.howtorepairmyinstrumentcluster.com
