Hello, sounds like you may need a locksmith to produce a new key. Then you'll need it to be programmed for the immobilizer function. That, or seeing your local GM dealership seems like the most efficient and cost effective outcome. Note: even if you somehow get the old key cylinder out, you'll have to program new keys. You're not saving any money. Do it easy, do it right.
