Hello, Is the new radio a factory replacement, or did it require modification of the original wiring harness? Since the radio uses serial data connections, it is very possible that damage to that circuit could disrupt information sent to the body control module, and unintended grounding of those wires could lead to damage to the body control module (which also relays data for those gauges). There are kits which maintain the integrity of the wire harness, while allowing you to install an aftermarket radio. Furthermore, they are cheap - around 30 bucks.
