What is your question?
Just got a new 6l80 put in my truck and noticed the trans temp was a little higher than the old trans. I plugged in my snap on scanner and it showed two different trans temps. One was transmission fluid temp which was about 190 which is normal. The other was TCM temp which was 201 which matched up with my gauge. Are these trucks suppose to use the TCM temp sensor for the trans temp gauge? 190 is about normal for my old trans which is why I think it’s reading the wrong sensor. Thanks for the help I have a video if you have somewhere I can send it. There are no codes in any of the modules. I don’t see how the remanned trans could be wired wrong.
How long has your 2015 GMC Sierra 1500 had this problem?
A week

Hello, based on everything I'm seeing, the TFT (transmission fluid temperature) sensor feeds directly into the TCU (transmission control unit). I'm entirely unsure of how you could have two different readings as both are derived from the same place. Where are you seeing the "190" displayed?
Here is a video of my scan tool. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=9wsF5UbFCq8&feature=youtu.be
Is there anyway I can send you the video of what my scan tool is showing and what my gauge is showing
