I left my key in the ignition in the on position , it killed my battery . After recharging battery , now the transmission shifts hard between 1 and 2 . The tachometer no longer works . The engine light is on and it says something about the stabiltrak needing to be serviced .
What makes this problem better or worse?
No change
How long has your 2007 GMC Sierra 1500 had this problem?

My truck is doing the same thing what did you find out to be your problem
I disconnected the battery for about 15 minutes when I connected the cable back up it’s like it reset itself . I don’t know if it matters but I diconnected the positive cable . I’m not a mechanic nor do I work on computers but I do know sometimes when your having trouble with anything that’s run by a computer resetting it helps . I hopee this works for you . Every mechanic I talked to said I’d have to have a new computer and they’re exspendive . It’s been months now and everything is still working great ! Good luck !
