50,000 is not the general rule. Every manufacture has different change intervals. 3,000 miles was the old standing rule for oil changes. Not anymore.
You are entirely correct,every manufacturer does indeed,but on the older modules,I recommend the 50,000 and 3,000 mile deals, I leave it up to the customer to decide what they want.i also recommend that any one who has vehicles under any warrentee, to take advantage of that option.
