Long start for the 1st start of the day only. Seems to also idle a bit rough at lights

Every morning my 2004 gmc sierra 1500 has a long start. No weird sounds. Always starts just long time holding key forward on first start.The rest of the starts throughout the day seem normal though it seems to be idling rough at stops (may be unrelated). Had starter alternator & battery checked at auto store they are all good & just recently replaced cap and rotor & Mass airflow sensor. Thanks

Hello, if your engine cranks a long time before starting, it can be an indication of a fuel delivery concern. Certainly other engine performance areas can be of concern, but I'd start with a fuel pressure test - static and check for bleed down. At the fuel rail, key on.
