Why dose my 2000 GMC Sierra make a hissing sound when using my AC or heater.

What is your question?

The hissing noise can be heard under my hood and inside the cab. I am the original owner and have keep it well maintained with only 88,000 miles has 5.3 motor and is 1500 SL series 4WD Again this only happen when I trun on my AC or heater .

What makes this problem better or worse?

It only dose this when driving the truck dose not do it when sitting idle

Hello; hard to say, except you could be hearing the blower motor. A physical inspection by a local professional could be helpful.
