What is your question?
2000 Silverado 2wd. The truck was running perfectly fine, the taillights work until brakes are applied. I removed the whole wiring harness from under the truck, found the ground wire that's wasn't hooked up. Get everything back and ready to move truck only to find out it starts up but then shuts off....getting plenty of fuel pressure on the rail.... makes no sense-all fuses have been checked ( to my knowledge). Hope someone can help. Thanks

Hello, The body harness for the rear of the truck should disconnect at a central point, disconnect it there. Once disconnected, start the truck, and make sure the connector is not touching anything. If the truck runs, you know there is probably a short to ground happening back there. If it still does the same thing, look first at the instrument cluster for a key or security warning. I'm assuming you disconnected the battery, and it may not be recognizing your key resistor.
