Hello, It may, but there are many other causes. Scan for trouble codes first, and feel free to reply with them for analysis.
It gives codes po758 shift soleniod b electrical and p1336 ckp variation
Ok, The solenoid is a fairly common issue with the 4L80e transmission, but they are otherwise good transmissions. The crankshaft position sensor, the ring it reads on the crankshaft, or the pigtail for that sensor is likely damaged or faulty. However, testing should be done to ensure the right component is repaired.
