what else could be wrong?

the truck will idle but when I press on the gas pedal it falls on its face. can't get above 25mph on any hill and sounds like it is running on 2 cylinders. the engine is 4.3 V6, and I just changed the fuel filter. No check engine light either.

check the cap and rotor for moisture inside and look at the tune up parts 1st. if they are ok you may have a coil or fule pressure issue. Good luck! Greg

like greg said but i would also check for exaust restrictions as that will kill your engines power.
