Possibly a bad distributor cap and rotor. If it gets worse when it is damp out I would be almost 100% sure thats your problem. Your looking at about $20. You may have a bad fuel pump. Check fuel pressure. When you hit the gas the car demands more fuel so the fuel pressure may not be there to meet the demand.
