Oh my goodness -- CNG? And you're going on a trip? Your biggest issue may be locating fueling stations along the way. Being in the LA area is one thing; where are you headed to? Hesitation on a CNG can be other things. I'm not a big expert by any means on CNG, but I can say that in my limited exposure, i've seen a ton of low mileage spark plug replacements. I believe they get fouled or damaged easily by the characteristics of the natural gas. What you really need is to find a solid specialist who understands the concept and principles of CNG operation. You don't have much company out there as an end user with a CNG product. Good luck.
