My GMC 3500 diesel will turn over fine, i checked fuel filter and it is pumping through, but seems like it gets no spark.

There is no spark in a Diesel, but what you are experiencing is probably that your injection pump or injectors are not delivering fuel. You need to find a diesel shop or a GM specialist.
