Why wont truck stay in overdrive?

What is your question?

as soon as the truck warms up its shifts out of overdrive and will go back in if you shut the truck off but it will kick out again going down the road as soon as it warms up again

sounds like the overdrive clutches are worn out. get a trans shop to confirm. if they are, you are looking at an overhaul. Roy

was just rebuilt 8000 miles ago oil is not dirty at all hard to see on stick and it does not smell

i just went through this exact same thing. It sounds crazy but your stop lamp switch is probably bad! I learned this after replacing the torque converter and solonoid!
